he touched her tenderly while she was sick, and you’re asking me to be normal about it.

she became fond enough to call him her friend, and you’re asking me to be normal about it.

she reawakened his humanity despite his attempt at her seeing the harsh reality of a doomed world, and you are asking me to be normal about it…

this is cooper “I just want to put my hand on her back” howard

Walton Goggins on the betrayal scene.

Tenderness, guilt, pain, NOT seeing Lucy as a daughter, but cares deeply for her.

I mean, you could hear the pain and anguish in his voice.

Oh sweet Cooper.

He's back from the dead because of Lucy.

She has every right to be so enraged with him - she's sick of being betrayed by people she cares about - and it's clear she cares about him because she wouldn't be THIS angry about it, but she should hopefully understand why he's done what he's done.

I can't blame him - Hank is not trustworthy at all, but Cooper would have hung onto that threat of him killing his family if he didn't give Lucy back.

Oh my heart ❤️

"How long have you been pretending to be this guy?" "About ten years." "Ten years." "It's a living."

I don’t see a ton of the ghoulcy hate myself cuz I don’t use twitter (yes I know I am gods chosen one), but I hear about stuff from you fine folks and I just think it’s so funny that ghoulcy shippers get accused of racism when we’re literally just gay aka daximus enjoyers.

I see so much love in this tag for Dane and Maximus and really love the ship myself, because when it comes to pairings, most sane people like them for the dynamics and energy between the characters, and the energy between Dane and Max feels so charged, like there’s so much chemistry and unspoken intimacy there and I hope to see more moments with them this season

I was rewatching season one this week and the scene where max tells Dane that he found someone is so tragic, you can see the pain in Dane’s eyes, and the “nowhere is safe line” always gets me.

Also combined with the fact that max and Lucy’s connection is about wanting stability and safety, things they’ve both been seeking they’re whole lives, but ultimately those pursuits are holding them back from who they really are. In both daximus and ghoulcy, we see their other partners pushing them out of their comfort zones to accept who they really are.
