Hexalyne is my favorite IDM artist-- there, I said it. Autechre, Boards of Canada, Four Tet-- they're all great and legendary, yes, but Hexalyne is taking what made those classic IDM frontrunners so awesome and is perfecting and improving on it. Looking at my record collection, I've come to realize that my all-time favorite releases are those that reward me greatly for the time and effort I put into getting to know them.
