I went to a glass museum recently and they had a program where they let kids design glass artwork and it brightened my day so much that I had to share some of my favorites:
Kids have such neat ideas and I love that a group of artists were willing to bring them to life.
Don’t post online about what protests you plan to attend.
Be safe. Be smart. Don’t fall for the weird pressure to liveblog political actions when we live in a surveillance state.
And for fuck’s sake, stop posting unredacted pictures of people at protests. It’s not a fucking party. It’s a political action and you could get someone killed. I have a personal friend who was doxxed and harassed for MONTHS in 2020 after their photo at a protest got passed around by neonazis. Do not be a part of that happening to someone.

have you ever wanted to make me draw a little guy for you? whether your answer is yes or no, now you can, for only $10! my ‘advertisement’ is actually inaccurate - for the time being, my rescue Grubs aren’t in need of anything, but i’m really struggling. I was unexpectedly put out of work for two weeks (contract negotiations), and my car just broke (again) - leaving me unable to drive for DoorDash, my side income. I very much need that money, and this has really set me back.
I’ll draw just about anything, though I reserve the right to say no to any request (not drawing anything illegal/morally sketch/I just can’t draw it for whatever reason). You can ask me to create a reference for you, make up a new OC entirely, draw an existing character - I’ll do it all for a flat $10! Why? Because my only art program at the moment is MSpaint on a Chromebook - it’s nothing fancy, and not what I’m used to drawing in, but I do enjoy it. Meeting people whose family isn’t fucked up is fucking baffling. Like you’re trying to get to know someone and map out which one of their parents is the evil one and if the other parent is also a victim or were they a passive enabler who just didn’t bother to protect their kids, and the fuck you mean it’s neither?? Like neither of your parents is a deeply, profoundly, fundamentally a bafflingly evil person??
Like are you sure you’re an adult who has a thorough in-depth understanding of interpersonal relationships, and you know what their dynamic is like? You are? You just genuinely did not grow up living under the same roof as the worst person you’ve ever known?
the craziest thing is that westerners get to keep neutrality on their existence no matter what their countries do. you dont lose sleep at night thinking about the evils of your countries. thats the craziest part to me. your existence is just treated as neutral while people from ‘opposing’ countries are seen as fundamentally evil and immoral. THATS THE CRAZIEST PART FOR ME
