i do also still want to do some conlanging sometime but 1. every time i get to the phonetics stage i become hyperaware of how dumb the sounds i’m stringing together sound and get so embarrassed i delete the while thing, and 2. i fear that if i put all of linguistic features i enjoy in one language i’ll just be reinventing Japanese from first principles
