I chained up to 40 and did 40 single crochet rows. My boys tend to chew the straps more than the Hammocks so I they were put on separately so I don't have to make a new one. I made a normal knot on the edge of the hammock (I knot 3 times to be sure)I then do a slipknot as close as I can. 1 single crochet through the corner for extra security.i then chain out to 38 and do one single crochet row.
