↳ I used to play club cricket for Addiscombe Cricket Club, and every year they’d give out awards. Batsman of the Year, Bowler of the Year, Player of the Year. And then there was the award that I won, an award called Clubman of the Year, which I subsequently found out was presented to the boy who’d shown the most enthusiasm in the face of, and I quote ‘an overwhelming lack of ability’.
