Diabolus in Muzaka While it comes across as better than average tech-death initially, what makes this stick for me is that it's essentially a more technically demanding later Aeon record with more overt melodicism. The production is great, but really only for this album - again, strikes me as a more compressed "Aeons Black", but the compression just makes things a bit tighter, still leaving all instruments audible all the time. Killer. Favorite track: The Nature of Blight.

elax Great stuff. Extremely technical yet absolutely thight sound. This album is a gem and I will use any opportunity given to me to lay my hands on a physical copy. Favorite track: Breaking the Great Narcissist.

Wilhelm G Incredibly groovy technical death metal. This is an album any fans of the genre should own. Favorite track: Breaking the Great Narcissist.

Richard Lagberg Their greatness is their ability to make it alive and still have the extreme profession in tightness and sound quality which in many times can kill the "live feeling". The guitar sound is mind blowing with a fresh edge that is pretty rare! Let be that the vocals are a bit narrow in its expression but on the other hand its one of the very best in its class! Favorite track: Reveal the Unseen.

about

On their latest full-length, Engineering The Void, Swedish death metal militia, SOREPTION, vomit forth a a multi-layered symphony of surgically accurate riff sequences, maniacal pace fluctuations, plenty of head-jarring rhythms and sprawling intervals of quietude
