The purpose of women in the Family is to bear men sons. The purpose of girls in the Family is to become women; and boys, to become men.
For their part, men are the masters of the Family, not its subjects, at least not in the same fashion as women and children. Women and children are familial roles oriented around men, and while men have their own roles, yes, these roles are oriented around men too, around themselves.
There are expectations placed by men on others. For a woman to fail to bear sons is a dereliction of her duty in the Family. It is a black mark on her, but she can still carry out childrearing and domestic tasks – she can remain a girl, in some capacity.
The transmasculine child is expected to become a woman, yet does not. In this matter, he is considered also to have derelicted his duty to the Family. He can still, however, perform the role of man – a role which, like many men, he will be considered inadequate in, and have to fight for, but a role nonetheless.
For the transfeminised child, failing to become a man represents a dereliction of duty with no real recourse. She cannot fulfil the role of woman, and her performance of the role of girl puts her no closer to usefulness. She is an outsider. She has no capacity for integration within the Family other than that extended to her. Her presence does not just constitute a disintegration and weakening of the Family’s structure, it is contradictory to it.
Rules and roles restrict relations – trannies stay out of the family, siblings don’t kiss, and women and children remain the property of men. Everybody fails to properly inhabit and perform their role to some degree, but only a select few are excluded entirely, identified as fundamental threats to this torture device in which everyone has found themselves. Transmisogyny is the linchpin holding it shut.
