it makes me crazy when people keep saying Vanessa Shelley is like "game Michael distributed across multiple movie characters" because her arc is so identically similar to Vanessas/vannys in the games . it's so clearly a movie translated version of her gameverse character not 'Michael Afton but not' 😭 it's the same thing except she can't be virus mind controlled so she's heavily abused (and what do you know gameverse Vanessa was also abused by her father). she's literally a reluctant follower
