Why does “falling in love” have pretty much exclusively romantic connotations it’s such a good phrase. I’ve fallen in love with every single one of my friends

This was such a smart post to make because every day I get to see people declaring their love for their friends in the tags. Such a simple but sweet “restoring faith in humanity” kind of thing. We’re all just little creatures who love our buddies <3

Alright so this post has gotten over 5,000 notes in a month and I think that means the consensus is that everyone loves their friends and you should tell them

maybe the best reminder to anyone who is disabled is to not compare yourself to other disabled people. you never know if they are able to “do more” things than you can because they have more support from others or if it they do so at a great cost to their health and you never really know the severity of their condition. you never really know what someone is going through, especially when they are disabled. please be gentle with yourself even when you feel unproductive

i just saw a post on reddit titled "the writer is cooking but the food doesn't agree with me" and it was about OP clicking off a fic because they don't like the direction it's going in. slightly different context but can we all be more like this reddit OP. i think "the writer is cooking but the food doesn't agree with me" should be the new "don't like don't read." dead doves may give you diarrhea but don't make that everyone else's problem.

there is something to be said about the joy of someone with a rare illness getting “bad” results in their exams because after so many doctor appointments and exams that come back fine and years of dealing with awful symptoms, you finally have some answers and some validation that there was actually something going on that caused so many issues

trans children deserve to go through the correct puberty at the same time as their peers

there needs to be a third option . going through a puberty that causes distress or staying in an underdeveloped body for years until its decided youre allowed to make decisions over your own body is not a good choice !

informed consent + bodily autonomy for children is a really really important goal in healthcare and that includes trans healthcare . trans kids deserve to decide for themselves the steps they want to take + have access to the necessary information to help them make that decision . why is this an insane opinion to have even within the trans community

the very first step of getting over your fears is to have them. just like the first step to getting better is being worse than you wish you were, and the first step to becoming who you want to be is being who you are. don’t let your shame back you into a corner. you can only grow from here.
