I won’t lie, I’ve been crying a lot lately about the Concentration Camp in Florida. Please can we stop calling it “Alligator Alcatraz” and call it for what it is. It is not a joke. It is a modern day Concentration Camp.

There are two things to break down. 1) The sarcastic and humorous tone of black liberation (Black Lives Matters) and 2) The dehumanization of Hispanic people.

Laura Loomer tried to step back when called out on her false statistics, she say “wrong! There are 65 million illegals, try again”.

I won’t get into the statistics of how many “illegals” are in the US. As far as I’m concerned, nobody is illegal on stolen indigenous land. Thank you.

Yesterday they opened they did their opening of the camp. This is the catering.

Shaved Ice aka Raspados? Elote aka Esquites? Churros? They are mocking Hispanic people, laughing in our face.

They like our food, our music, our dances. But they hate US, they hate THE PEOPLE. It’s a slap to our face to open a camp that is made to dehumanize us, to corner our people around fear with Alligators. Making jokes saying we are meals and we are food. That we have to run away from alligators.

Where have I seen this threat and torture used. Where have I seen alligators?

Black people who were enslaved & Black babies were once used for alligator bait. They made a mockery of black people, with post cards, toys, advertisements.

This is not accidental, this is all purposeful. They are taking a page out of the books of old racist & xenophobes.

The injustice for black and brown people still continue. This has broken my heart to a million pieces, there are people now that hate me, my family, and friends for existing. For being the “wrong” color, “wrong” nationality, “wrong” language. I write this with tears in my eyes. It is hard to remain strong.

Hey y’all, so I’m still short $319 for this month’s goal or so I thought 😐 Honestly, I’m not sure what happened, but my grocery bill went from $80 to $160 and… yeah, I hate it here. 😮‍💨 So now instead of needing $800, it's looking closer to $900.

Right now I’m at $481, which has helped a lot, so thank you to everyone who’s donated and shared my link seriously, I appreciate it more than I can say. 💖

That means I still need about $400 more to cover August.

I'm still job hunting and dealing with the fallout from my old job, and honestly… I'm scared I might have to go back to my abusive boss if things don’t improve soon. So wish me luck in the coming weeks, and thank you again for sticking with me.

Calling radfem artists and writers for @amireallymeangirl.

@amireallymeangirl is a very very kind radfem who came to radblr to look for support. She has been having an extremely hard time because of her endometriosis which resulted in a hysterectomy. She feels dysphoric as a woman and posted that she felt suicidal. In a response to this, "blackpill feminists" have flooded her inbox telling her to commit suicide. some blackpills have posted that they hope she kills herself or dies in her operation. They successfully bullied her off tumblr, making her feel more alone than ever.

@amireallymeangirl came to Tumblr to look for a sense of community. I ask that radfems show your support by submitting a drawing, a story, or just kind words to help her go through this

I'll go first. I'm not an artist, and my pencil was running out of led around 20 hands in, but I attempted to draw a uterus made of hands tearing itself apart to represent to feeling of pain that comes with endometriosis. The addition of hands was to represent that her body was ejecting it and reaching out for help. I made this in attempt to ease her dysphoria after her hysterectomy by making it feel unnatural.

I'm entrusting this in better artists because my vision ended up looking quite morbid

I know what it's like to have nothing working for you anymore. I sometimes fear of having to get a hysterectomy in my future, as it's in my family history and my situation has been bad since my first menstruation. To go through such a surgery is so hard on the self. I may have not experienced one, but i saw it firsthand, with my own two eyes, and i saw what it does.
I know that sense of guilt around having female-specific health problems, especially people's dismissal of them and of your pain. That look they give you... like they're deciding whether they wanna put you and your weakness in an asylum or to tell you to shut up and go back to work.
Because of all of this, i want you to know that i see you OP, and i hear you. Your experiences and feelings are 100% valid. I also want you to know that me, and many other women on radbir, want you in this world. You deserve a place on Earth and i don't want you to think otherwise. You have all my love and support.

@amireallymeangirl is a woman with a great, warm heart, with intelligence to envy. She's thoughtful and kind, a sharp tongue when it's needed, and a softness when it comes to caring for others.

What she's been put through has been downright evil. I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy, never mind someone as genuinely lovely as her.

If you read this: those thoughts and desires aren't you. They're the cruellest attacks from a vicious voice that you don't deserve. Take all of the time that you need to heal, with all of the support that you need. You're not alone, and there are people here that really care about you. Don't ever be afraid to reach out for help.
