Turbodriver: I don't think so – on the contrary. There is social pressure in the modding community to make content accessible to everyone. That creates respect and trust. Especially when it comes to sexual needs that people fulfil with the mod, I don't want to be accused of profiting from those needs. A paywall would probably cost me a lot of supporters.

taz: Making legal abortion available as a game option is definitely a political decision today.

Turbodriver: Obviously, my mod is a product of my political convictions. Feminist beliefs also influence my work, but not exclusively. Every component of the mod is the result of individual considerations.

taz: Do you give the [scene] creators guidelines?

Turbodriver: At least I have some guidelines. But I find it difficult. When it comes to sexuality, on the one hand, you want to give people the freedom to express themselves. On the other hand, there is so much that can shock, mislead or hurt people. Before I invite creators to my platform/website, I take a very close look at how they present themselves. How do they present their content? What is their tone of voice like?

taz: What are your next plans for ‘WickedWhims’?

Turbodriver: I don't usually reveal what I'm working on; otherwise, the community immediately has expectations that I may not be able to fulfil. But because I'm already very far along with my current project, I'll give you a spoiler: I'm working on a new profession: camgirl.
