I created and published my first pattern! It's pretty simple but we all have to start somewhere. I'm just baffled that there seems to be no other pattern for making cat ear ear muffs on ravelry, so I had to make my own!

I made a hat for my boyfriend :) everyone in my knitting group always went "wow that's so complicated!" When I was working on it, but the pattern is fairly simple. It was a great intro into color work in knitting and it turned out really nice!

Hey everyone! I have once again remembered I have this account and am gonna try to be better about posting on it lol. but that's not all: I have an announcement!

I've applied to open a goimagine store! if you don't know goimagine is an alternative to Etsy where they actually care about their sellers. they don't allow drop shipping or ai at all and they donate 2% of all proceeds to charity. they don't have nearly as many sellers as Etsy at the moment because they're still fairly new, but they have a great mission. I'd really encourage you to check it out if you're interested in getting some handmade goods, or if you're a crafter who wants to sell your wares. My shop isn't up yet, but hopefully it will be in a week or so. I'll make another post once it is.

I'm back! sorry I haven't posted in a while. I just always forget to take pictures of the things I make, but I have been making them! I'm selling at a craft fair in December (my first one!) so I've been making a lot of little things for that. I've also been making a lot of things that aren't knit or crochet recently, so I'll share those too :)

Friendship Bracelets for Palestine

I'm tired of feeling powerless because I don't have the money to donate to charities or fundraisers to help people in Palestine, so I'm doing what I've seen others do and giving people who do have the money a bit of incentive:

- if you donate at least $5 to any fundraiser on the Vetted Gaza Fundraiser List and send me proof I will send you a friendship bracelet of your choice from one of the pictures above

- if you donate at least $10 I'll make you your own custom bracelet. just tell me: 1) either the name of the pattern you want (eg Chevron, heart, etc) or the pattern number on friendship-bracelet.net, 2) the colors you want, and 3) what length you want it to be

most of the premade bracelets vary in length from 6-12 inches. 6 inches is child sized, 8 inches would fit most adults and anything longer than that is good for people with larger wrists or who prefer a looser fit. a couple are shorter than 6 inches and are better as keychains than bracelets. feel free to ask for closeups of any of the bracelets because I know some of the colors can be hard to see in these pictures.
