Hello there, I’m vivi or vivian, she/her, adult, and writer extraordinaire!

Sometimes I doodle, sometimes I drabble, and sometimes I simply lurk quietly on the dash with my fists full of blorbo posts.

Any asks are appreciated and encouraged!

I mostly main Hermitcraft and the Life smps (TangoTek in particular), as this is what I write for mostly, but you can also find scraps of other fandoms, such as Dsmp (Technoblade never dies), Qsmp (Tallulah my beloved), and other non-mcyt related things (Reptiles, Batfam, MCU, various video games, Star Wars, Owl City, Critical Role & Midst, etc. etc.) among my rebloged posts.

I have a ko-fi!

If you like my writing and would like to help support me, you can send a tip my way! I release writing teasers and exclusive sneak peaks for my writing there.

My commissions are [OPEN]

My AO3 is ViviTheAnimaxen, feel free to stop by and check out what I have up there.

This is actually really funny. In high school my humanities teacher told us a story about one of the Europe trips he had gone on with the school a few summers past. So him and the group of kids were in the middle of Rome and the tour guide had gotten lost. They could figure out how to get to some church they were going to see. All of a sudden one of the students like call attention to himself. He says he knows where to go and just start walking around the streets, taking back roads and side streets and within 20 mins they’re at the church they needed to get to. My teacher asks the kid if he has every been to Italy before. He says no, he just knew where to go because he played Assassins Creed Brotherhood.

My kid identified a birch at my dads house because the birch trees in Minecraft have realistically colored bark.

My dad got so excited about having a nature lover in the family until “oh, video games.”

Like dude you bought me a game called Sim Park that was literally about building a wildlife preserve and the only way to get money in the game was to either let humans show up and rent the place out or take quizzes about identifying plants. We got so good at leaf identification, and you took us camping exactly zero times.

Yeah my daughter’s school did a project on Ancient Egypt during lockdown. We fired up Assassins Creed Origins in educational mode and let her explore.

“i equip my trusty laser revolver. there’s basically no point in it being a revolver and not an automatic pistol except for the aesthetic. honestly it’s just really inconvenient to have only six shots of fuckin light energy at a time but it’s a labor of love for a space cowboy”

thequantumqueer

ok but consider: capacitors that recharge automatically but not instantly, so in the few seconds between each shot, you have 5 other capacitors to cycle through, leaving the first capacitor ready to fire again by the time it is again aligned with the lens assembly and trigger mechanism.

in that sense, the purpose of a laser revolver’s cylinder would be like the cylinder of a traditional ballistic revolver and more like a rotary barrel assembly (which is used to allow each barrel time to cool down before another round is fired through it, reducing wear-and-tear), though due to the fact that its direct function is to align the ordnance with the weapon assembly, it would still be considered a cylinder, making the weapon properly a revolver.

What's fucked is that the warrior cats clans have little or no interdependence to speak of, which means that diplomacy is almost completely toothless when there's nothing the clans can offer or withhold from each other.

In real life if, say, one country does something shitty to another country, there are at least some things that can be done before escalating to military action, ways to mete out consequences without going to war: lawsuits, trade sanctions, travel restrictions, and so on. But the clans don't trade with each other, they rarely collaborate outside of extreme circumstances, and borders are permanently closed by default, so the only real way to retaliate at all is to escalate to violence. And even in quote-unquote peacetime, except in the aforementioned extreme circumstances, no clan ever really benefits from the existence of the other clans; not only are there no systems in place for sharing resources or skills, most characters in-universe would react with suspicion or confusion to the idea that they even should. The ideal situation in the warrior cats world is one where the clans don't interact at all outside of monthly Gatherings. This cat society is built in such a way that peace is synonymous with isolation. Travel between clans is impossible because every adult member of each clan is an active member of that clan's military unless they're on maternity leave or retired, which makes every crossing of a border an automatic act of aggression. Warrior Cats is the story of four military dictatorships shakily coexisting for months at a time until something inevitably raises tension and hostilities again, and both the characters and the narrative act outraged over idea that maybe they should be less of a military dictatorship.

It’d be kinda funny if this does genuinely get 10k

Because someone did predict that but on a specific thread that really only got notes from people spamming (despite totally seeming like a 10k thread tbh)

sexy-people-contests-2026

It should tbh that would be really funny, that being said:
