PAGE ONE: Modern AU: Luo Binghe turns to Mobei Jun and says: "You never told me how you met your boyfriend."
Mobei Jun smiles warmly in response before speaking up to a confused Luo Binghe. "We met on the day that I was robbed," he explains.
Luo Binghe is confused and asks, "You were robbed? Did he save you?" Mobei Jun is smiling at the memory in the background.
PAGE 2 In a cheerful tone, Mobei Jun responds with, "No. He was the ROBBER."
"HA????" Luo Binghe is a staring, concerned, and confused chibi looking at Mobei Jun.
The last panel is a flashback of Mobei Jun gripping Shang Qinghua by the neck, screaming, "Did you grab my butt?!" Shang Qinghua is comically choking and crying under Mobei Jun's grasp. There's a text box over this flashback stating: "Mobei Jun thought he was cute." END ID]

Anyway, Airplane raises Shen Yuan, who has a very complex relationship with his father, having read all of his pornography. Rumor has it that Shang Qinghua’s son- a carbon copy of Shen Qingqiu- was the result of fling between the two lords.
They both hate them rumors. Yue Qingyuan is distraught. What he doesn’t know is that Shen Yuan is his biological child as well as Xiao Jiu’s. He has zero critical thinking skills and will never learn this.
When Shen Yuan was still an infant that required nutrients, Mobei Jun decided to step up and be his mother. He finds lactation plot device herbs and nurses the baby himself with his absurdly rich arctic marine mammal milk. I cannot stress enough that Moshang is not a thing at this point from Airplane’s perspective. Meanwhile Mobei Jun thinks he’s being such a good tradwife. (Nurse baby, bring back food, beat Qinghua, make breast milk ice cream, kill political rivals)

saw someone mention this on reddit about an actual fic on ao3 but imagine: shen yuan the fanfic author who writes extremely well thought out, well structured pidw fanfic & airplane who shamelessly (from a sock account) reads said fanfic when he procrastinates writing the new chapter and is very generous with his praise except it's always kind of suggestive
"this is so good, obsessed with the way you nailed binghe's characterisation damn. and the romantic tension was just. fuuuuck. had me crawling up the wall. author please tell me you're single"
"the sex scene! (っ´ཀ`)っ i literally can't describe how fucking hot that was to read. better than any porn i've ever seen. the author must be pretty good in bed himself ♡♡♡"
shen yuan pointedly replies to everyone else's comments other than this reader's until one day airplane slips up and accidentally leaves a reference to shen yuan's fic in an actual chapter of pidw, which shen yuan of course clocks immediately and then puts two and two together
when they get together some months later after a lot of bickering and finally meeting up in real life, airplane's comments get progressively more annoying, like "thank you for this chapter daddy" and "i love this so much i need to fuck the author!!". all the other readers are flabbergasted, how has this fanfic author not blocked this person yet, this is literal sexual harassment at this point??

Little svsss fic idea that I will probably never get around to writing:
There is a spiritual artifact that heightens cultivation to the point that the cultivator goes mad. This is because it shows the truth of the universe, which is half the point of cultivation in the first place, but to most inhabitants of the world it is like an unknowable eldritch horror. For Shang Qinghua, who already has a pretty good idea of how the world came to be given he was the one to create it, he is mostly just a little stunned/overwhelmed/dazed by the effects of the artifact.
"Oh yeah, I can totally see how that would drive any righteous cultivator mad. Nobody touch it, I don't want to have to deal with any insanity or suicides today."
"Are you alright Shang Qinghua?"
"Oh yeah, I'm fine, I knew most of that already. I mean, how things went from words and code into become a full fledged world I didn’t know, so that part was interesting and a bit mind-bending, but I knew about the words and the code already and so it wasn’t too terribly hard to comprehend. I probably would have understood it a bit more if i understood the inner workings of computers, but I've never been a big computer nerd, so some of it flew over my head a bit. But yeah, the transition from idea to code to matter and qi is such a fascinating thing. Definitely won't be doing that again, but still fascinating."
"Alright, how about you sit down and we'll get you to Mu Qingfang."
"That’s probably a good idea. I know that my body adapted well enough, but it still feels like I've got way to much qi for my body. Not really helping my god complex any, let me tell you that."
From then on, Shang Qinghua has spells where he will fall into a trance-like state with little filter. If prompted while in this state, whether on purpose or by accident, he will casually talk about secrets of the past and future of the people, places, and things around him, along with minor traits and other things he should have no way of knowing. Everyone chalks it up to an effect from the artifact, so they don't get upset at him knowing things he shouldn't, but the things he says certainly tend to cause a stir. (And fix things in a way not even the system could have predicted.)
