The many deaths of Stiles Stilinski
Random thought that popped into my head. Imagine if Stiles had the same ability as Kenny from South Park, where no matter how many times he dies, he just keeps coming back and most of the world don't even remember he died. So when certain events go differently, like the massacre at the police station or the swimming pool or the chemist or Donovan, Stiles dies. He loses a little piece of himself each time, each incident is another scar. And only certain people notice. Peter sees. Lydia sees. Meredith sees.
And eventually Derek sees. Because Stiles dies multiple times to save the grouchy wolf and each time digs itself into the deepest corner of Derek's memory. He doesn't know why or how he knows, but he knows he's seen Stiles die before.
And he wants it to stop.
Ohmygod I need this as a fic like yesterday! I love this idea!!!!
I cannot believe Scott McCall, son of the nurse who practically runs what's apparently the only hospital in the vicinity, did not think to get himself checked when a suspicious creature tore a chunk out of his side in the middle of the night.
Like damn kid, ever heard of rabies??? I know you're worried about worrying your mom and getting in trouble and hospital bills and all that but you realise all of that's gonna happen but worse if you got infected right?
The exact symptoms of rabies are different but c'mon would that not be your first consideration if a suspicious dog-like animal bit you and left slobber all over you and then you started behaving weird?
But nope! Dude slaps on a bandage (did he even clean that shi properly?) And goes to frigging school the next day!
Honestly this didn't seem weird to me. But that's only because my dad as a kid, was bit by a mouse (If I remember correctly) and he was so afraid of possibly getting rabies and upsetting his mom that he never told his either of his parents. I think this is a reality for a lot of boys with Mexican moms. Little mijos who don't want to get in trouble or make their moms mad.
And obviously a mouse bite is way different than a werewolf bite, but it's just so funny to me that I didn't even think it was weird until seeing it being pointed out that it actually is weird Scott never told his mom, especially because she's a nurse.
Even funnier, the only reason my dad told me about his mouse bite is because I also got bit by a mouse when trying to catch it before someone could kill it, and I told my mom who freaked out. 🤣 And I was 16 when it happened. Figured I was ok since the bite didn't even break the skin.
1) that’s an adorable story, I love your dad
2) Scott Mcall ALSO WORKED AT A VET CLINIC! Oh my god he should have gone to Deaton first thing and freak out to an adult who wasn’t his mom but knew about dog bites! IMAGINE HOW DIFFERENT SEASON ONE MIGHT HAVE BEEN IF DEATON WAS THE A TRUE MENTOR FROM THE FIRST SECOND OF SCOTT’S TRANSFORMATION!!!

Steter- Pulse in my veins
I'm rugged >:(
Stiles: And then I hugged him and he started gently sobbing.
for a werewolf show, there is a distinct lack of wolf howls in teen wolf. sad
Exactly! Roars, growls, and howls are so different! Werewolves are supposed to howl, along with growl. Wolves don't even roar, why can't we have our werewolves howling???? Wolves howling sounds so cool. Especially when you can hear the differences depending on what is going on.
I will say the best howl I have ever heard is when I was at a wildlife refuge in Alaska and the guy told the group to start howling to get the wolf (she was so pretty!) to howl with us.
Everyone else was really half-assing it or not doing it, probably felt awkward or embarrassed, I did my best, and the wolf looked at us like she was silently judging our pathetic howls and she joined in but she half-assed it too! If wolves could roll their eyes, she definitely would have.
I totally got off track here, but yes, Teen Wolf needed actual howling!
Stiles: I mean who taught him about body tea? It's correct but Jesus.

this one isn’t that great but i wanted to do one of my hardcore!au thingy
i like to think that in this au stiles is more daring and derek likes that from time to time
random question: how often does Peter really sit on the staircase in Derek's loft, like in the actual episodes of the show? 'cause it feels like *every* fic i've read (not so much in yours, i think, which is a breath of fresh air) always had at least one scene, but often it's more of, 'Peter took his *usual spot* on the steps...'
All the time. Absolutely all the time. The only reason he doesn't so much in my fics is because my fics very rarely take place in the loft. I thought it was an exaggeration when I started reading before I reached season 3 on my rewatch - you know, Clint Barton in the vents kind of thing - but I need you to understand that fanfiction are not exaggerating this. It is his usual spot. I'm fairly sure every scene he has in the loft involves those damn stairs, the either walks down those stairs dramatically or sits on them
Like, granted, it's not that many due to the fact that there aren't that many Peter scenes in general (vastly underused character), even less in the loft. But when he is in there, he really does love engaging with that spiral staircase.
