A few things:
Ari is a guy who I’ve seen at the gym for years, he is incredibly kind and he invited me to go to the gym with him on Saturday [yesterday], and treated me to breakfast afterwards. Ari is my age, gay, tells it like it is, and is a very like-able person. However, Ari just so happens to be close to my gym crush, Mike… and OMG. The tea was piping hot.
When I got to the gym yesterday with Ari, Mike looked completely surprised [probably didn’t realize we were good acquanitances]. Mike came up to us on the treadmills, extended his hands to say hello, and Ari was like dude, i need to talk to you about something very serious but you don’t answer my messages [this went on for a bit]. Mike tells Ari that he is actually on his way out, but that he will call Ari to discuss further.
Ari then randomly asks Mike: do you have a girlfriend? and Mike goes: do i have a girlfriend? i have 3… looking for a 4th [and Mike looks at me]. Ari goes: ohhh Natalie, did you hear that? and i go: Yes i did, and no thank you. To which Mike basically blushed, turned his face quickly and walked away laughing.
