I went to listen to this straight after reading this and GOD THE FIRST LINE

Just started S1E11 of Supernatural and oh my god, the change from Dean being desperate to talk to his dad to his face hardening and the “Yes sir”.
“I don’t understand the blind faith you have in that man.”
“It’s called being a good son.”
He genuinely thinks that to be a good son he has to blindly do whatever he’s told. And then when Sam wants to do his own thing, outside of John’s orders, Dean called him selfish. Is that what he was raised to believe? That anything outside of what John wants is being selfish? And Dean just grew up accepting that.
It’s okay if you’re not doing something all the time. It’s okay if you’re not constantly studying and it’s okay if you haven’t quite found the motivation to start yet. Your mental health comes first. Sometimes, finishing an exam with a stable mental state means sacrificing doing as well as you could on that exam and that’s okay. I am proud of you.

So, this Guest keeps leaving the same spam comments on my We Forgot Peter Series.
While I am all for fic recommendations being left in the comments for other to enjoy (and I have asked for people to do so before because I'm looking for similar fics) I have an issue with being spammed by what honestly sounds like a bot. And this is just tasteless.
So this is my warning to anyone in the fandom - I would be wary of reading anything over on webnOvel, especially the fics they are trying to promote on mine. I would hate for anyone to be spammed the way I am currently being. I've never trusted the sight so if you do use it, please be careful.
ugh, yeah, i've been getting SO MANY of these comments in the past few months. i've heard webnovel is a pretty scammy website (i mean, apparently it's a paid fanfiction website, some comments give you promotional codes for discounts). and i've gotten "invitations" to join webnovel on fanfiction.net as well. not to mention these comments spell webnovel as webn0vel to escape deletion, i think.
basically, everyone, this is suspicious as hell. report these comments if you get them on ao3 or any other fanfic website.
I’ve had these exact comments on my fics and it’s so sad to get excited over a notification and then find out it’s a bot :(

You guys are right, everyone is entitled to their own ships and how they enjoy fandom is completely up to them. I was just taken off guard by how much of the ship Id seen. Not my type of thing but you do you.
You want more minority representation in media but if they have flaws its problematic and if theyre perfect theyre a patronizing mary sue. If they crack under the pressure of the conflict the author thinks that minority is weak and if they overcome the adversity they must be a neoliberal bootlicker who thinks real world bigotry is a matter of personal attitude. You want minority characters but if theyre a villain its violently problematic and if theyre the protagonist then we circle back to the very first sentence. If theyre a side character theyre being sidelined and the author is once again bigoted, and don't you know that every single minority character death is unilaterally bigoted, without exception? You want more minority characters but if their identity is a big part of their personality or struggles then they're problematic and if their identity has nothing to do with their personality or struggles then the author is tokenizing that identity for clout. You want more minority characters but every time theres a minority character who doesnt have every single experience that you have then you tell the author to kill themselves on twitter. You wonder why not even minority authors will write minority characters.
I would ask you to read Catch-22, but you'd just call the military base problematic.
I hear your “Tony and Peter had kind cute nicknames for each other” and i raise you the headcannon that they had nicknames, but they were almost exclusively insults.
Joking insults, of course. But you think that the man who named his pets prized possessions “Dummy” and “You” would turn around and give his kid favorite teenager cute nicknames? No! The man canonically nicknamed him after underwear! Canonically diminished Peter’s attempt at seeming mature by calling him “Spider-Boy” instead of Spider-Man
Peter’s not gonna just. take that and give tony kind uplifting nicknames. Those mfs try to outdo each other with clever and rude nicknames. Tony calls Peter “Laffy Taffy” bc of the kids quips and weird flexibility. Peter calls Tony “Repulsor” after the day Tony mentioned Pepper called his smell repulsive.
And they love it. It’s their way of affection. You know somethings gone wrong when they DONT use rude nicknames.
The dead silence after another Avenger tries to join in with an insult towards one of them and the other just stares daggers at them until they awkwardly clear their throat and back out of the room.
