While the first EP 'Lead Me To the Sky' had a more primitive edge, 'When We Live' stands firmly in the grunge era adding the modern elements of powerful indie groove. The only difference between Dead Indian and Nirvana at their peak is Dead Indian isn't really dead. Meant 100% as a compliment.

What mutha fu$!ing Scumbag said! He said it all just about right. I'll add that while all these releases are only technically EPs they are triumphantly awesome and rival many full length outputs. There's also an underlying grunginess to the punky stoner abrasiveness Scumbag mentions.
