Uh-Oh, I Was Laid Off

My job had a series of layoffs and while I survived the first round, I didn’t survive the second. With that said, I have functionally no source of income while I wait for my unemployment claim to be processed and job hunt in the interim As of the very end of November, I now have a job! But my first paycheck won’t come for a few weeks, so please consider

can you people tag properly. going to start reporting all of you for spam istg. stop venting and posting your outfits in unrelated tags. this is not tiktok. the only algorithm on tumblr is what you directly feed into it’s mouth. stop putting content in the wrong places. you are annoying

The negative 1600. That’s the fucking Bronze Age.

Humans have always loved watching birds do nifty bird things.

Unintended side effects of teaching our cat fetch:

1) she’s now really good at catching mice

2) she’s now really good at BRINGING THEM BACK TO YOU ALIVE AND UNINJURED, BUT DEEPLY TRAUMATIZED

I was gonna say “I bet this exists” because I had genuinely forgotten one of the most gargantuan eras in the history of this website

Posts that scare new tumblr users

Why would this scare new users? How bad could it possibly be??

My Fur Is Not Your Coat is a 16-page minizine touching briefly on the history of the Sol System, the framework that arose around their multiplicity, and their relationship with the plural communities at large.  It discusses some of their feelings about the terminological and binary arguments that often dominate these spaces, and the ways they often feel viewed by and view other multiple systems.

If you ever came up to the Sol System asking, “What's in your pants your origin label, are you a boy or a girl endogenic or traumagenic?” then this is the document for you.

This is a 1,100 word essay, designed to be printed on a single sheet of paper; this download includes both PDF versions for the web and a formatted 16-page minizine PDF. For best results, print on heavier weight paper with borderless duplex (flip short side) settings. Cut along the dotted lines.

Had another run-in with the -genic microlabel slapfight, so I think it’s probably pertinent to reblog this again.

I would also like to take the moment to recommend checking out LB Lee’s A Cure for Plural Piss-Fight Poisoning and Trauma in Multi Identity, two essays which feel deeply relevant to this topic.

A lot of public media will be destroyed by this. Public TV and radio are vital for rural areas in our country, and without them, anyone living there will have a difficult time finding out about important news in their area.

One thing you can do is find your local PBS station and click “donate” at the top of the page. https://www.pbs.org/stations/

i had a dream this morning that the newest thing was that when you changed the channel on the TV you’d get a text that said “we noticed you changed the channel! would you mind giving us a rating?” with a link and then if you turned off the TV you’d get another that said “did you mean to turn off the TV? we miss you!” and i really don’t think we’re far off from that
