Hi! I'm that heron guy. You can call me Noah though :)

This is supposed to be a Hannibal blog but you know how it goes. I'm an artist and somewhat of a fanfic writer but it's probably mostly going to be reblogs. Feel free to look through the last two tags on this post, used to bundle and navigate my own prompts, headcanons and art.

Maybe add to my art prompt list?

I like coming up with little fic ideas here and there. Everything here is a creative free-for-all, just to be clear though. No one's stealing my ideas because I'm standing here, screaming at you to take them like I'm getting paid for it.

In any case, see ya around <3

I love thinking I'm a hater and then meeting a real hater and going wow that does not look fun actually. Going back to my lukewarm hater ways. Performative haterdom. I couldn't name five hater bands.

To be perfectly honest for a sec, I, as one that's always had unrestricted internet access, never could take that "mdni" seriously even for a little bit. I and everyone I know in person has used this as a lesson in being responsible for curating your own internet experience and I don't see why that would be a bad thing. Shielding kids from anything that might inconvenience them or make them uncomfortable is not going to make them into particularly well rounded individuals, you know

I do acknowledge that you probably won't want people being immature about your content but like we all know how the block button works, no?

And sure, I myself am gonna avoid minors as much as possible when it comes to nsfw but like that feels like a completely separate thing to me

But yeah. Give me your perspectives pls

Quick request to other fandom blogs:

If you’re comfortable with it, please consider turning on “Show Mature Content” in your account settings. It’s just a toggle, but right now it actually makes a big difference.

Tumblr’s weird AI flagging system has been catching a ton of completely harmless content. Posts with hands, backs, collarbones, or even simple, non-sexual quotes are getting flagged for no reason at all.

You can appeal these automatic flags, but in reality that usually doesn’t do much. A lot of appeals get ignored, and right now Tumblr’s staff is basically barebones.

When the toggle is off, a lot of normal edits, quotes, fanart, and aesthetic posts end up effectively invisible. Turning it on doesn’t mean you’re inviting explicit content onto your blog - it just helps work around a system that doesn’t understand fandom or nuance. Ty! 🫀
