Thank you for the questions! Sorry for the delay in responding.

27: Maeryn is the eldest daughter of Maekar Targaryen and Dyanna Dayne, borne between Daeron and Aerion. She has two younger brothers, Aemon and Aegon, as well as two younger sisters, Daella and Rhae. Maeryn is somewhat overlooked by Maekar but she considers this a mercy. She was close to her mother and struggles greatly after Dyanna dies. Her relationship with Daeron is one of mutually fond exasperation. She eventually becomes a maternal figure to her younger siblings after the death of their mother. However Maeryn and Aerion hate each other to the point she believes he will kill her or vice versa. This is due to Maeryn trying to shield Aegon from Aerion’s abuse and openly challenging Aerion at every point. She can tolerate his delusions and even pity him but she can’t ignore his appalling conduct.

49: I think sacrifice, duty and rebellion are probably the main themes for Maeryn’s story at the moment.
