See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

So you’ve found me

Hooray! You’re in for a treat.

Basic Shit

I’m wokerevolverocelot. I’m a biracial, biromantic and genderqueer internet user. I post about Revolver Ocelot, Metal Gear, other cool fandom shit I’m into, queer issues, US politics and really anything else that strikes my fancy.

My Pronouns: She/they/he.

My Age: Adult. If you’re a minor, DNI. I do reblog 18+ and NSFW content.

Shit I do

  • I do respond to verified Gaza GFMs. I try to respond in an appropriate timeframe considering the severity of the situation in Gaza, but there are also days when I am not on Tumblr or don’t get inbox notifications on mobile, so please know that I have not forgotten or are ignoring anyone.
  • I do discuss sensitive topics on my blog at times, including but not limited to racism, homophobia/queerphobia, transphobia/transmisogyny/transandrophobia/exorsexism, intersexim, abuse, etc. If these are extremely triggering topics for you, please block those specific tags or DNI.
  • I do occasionally post artwork when I feel confident enough or I remember to do so. Please do not repost my art on other sites.

Shit I don’t do

  • I don’t tolerate bigotry of any kind. I am in a happy, healthy, flourishing polycule with the “block” and “report” buttons. If I see you posting foolishness, rest assured I shall whisper your grievances to my lovers and they will make your blog disappear.
  • I don’t support the use of generative AI. If you are an AI “art” blog, a c.ai/j.ai creator blog, or any blog of a similar variety, DNI.
  • I don’t use TMA/TME terminology. As someone who believes in the abolition of both the gender and sex binary, and as a genderqueer person, I don’t find it productive nor helpful to reduce so many vast identities (and thus so many vast experiences with bigotry) into two simple categories. Although I do understand the original intent behind these terms, that good intent has been lost to time and has devolved into an internet shit-flinging contest between groups that should be standing together in solidarity. If you do use TMA/TME terminology, you are still free to interact, but be warned that we may clash at times.

And uuh yeah thats pretty much it. (for now)

you post something like

'i think the tma/tme binary is unhelpful at best and a dogwhistle for people who are transphobic to a specific demographic of the trans community at worst' and some fuckass with a cartoon pfp will drop into your notes to be like

'but trans women have a right to discuss their issues!'

and it's like

sis no one said they couldn't we're just saying stop using terms that have been co-opted by people with a fucking agenda!

Not an invitation to cocoon yourself in a self-care bubble for four years, but a reminder to the 24/7 worriers that you can literally write "To Do on Monday: Worry about ________" on a post-it note and stop worrying about it for one day while you recharge.

I fully believe that conservatives do not want their tax dollars going to fund school lunches for children because they see children not as individual people but rather as extensions of their parents, and they view a child’s hunger as a moral failing of the parent to maintain their property rather than a hungry child being a vulnerable individual that deserves to be fed.

dragon-in-a-fez

forever confused about the number of people on this site who think "children are property and not people" is a "right-wing" belief and not like. completely normalised among 90% of society

the belief that children are people is radical. it is wholly outside the Overton window. average "love is love" liberal will straight up say shit like "children do not have rights" with zero prompting.

something that is really disturbing abt transandrophobia discourse and this recent wave of shitting on trans mascs and trans men a is that compared to at least my experiences/understanding of past bi and ace discourse, ive seem waaaaay more trans men and mascs willingly submitting and accepting the characatures and negative stereotypes assigned to them, i guess in the hopes that they'll be seen as "one of the good ones."

Maybe its because 2020s queer discourse is already heavily centered on being the most palatable queer person at all times, thanks to the rise of TikTok which relies on this easily consummable and brandable part of the queer community. Because 10 years ago i feel like no trans person would ever be so eager to lay down and become a doormat for lateral aggression. There was a lot more fight and a more clear divide of "people who generally dont like this term/identity do not identify with that term/identity" and "people who do like this term/identity identify with this term/identity."

it's probably because we have these sentiments drilled into us the moment we involve ourselves with the queer community, and a lot of people ofc get involved as teenagers, so you're in a vulnerable space and will internalize anything you're told

the problem with transandrophobia has ramped up recently because of transmascs and men bringing the topic to light, but the underlying issues we're bringing to light were always there

eg. even ten-fifteen years ago there was a SIGNIFICANT amount of trans men and transmascs who presented as nonbinary because they felt being men would basically corrupt them. posts like "sometimes I think I might be a trans man but I don't want people to be afraid of me so I just keep saying I'm non-binary and presenting more on the fem side" were ridiculously common

so now yeah ofc, that generation of self hating trans men/masc have grown up and a lot of them still hate themselves. the concept that they're a lesser entity and even a threat within the queer community has been completely internalized now. to them when you fight against this concept you're challenging a basic universal fact
