    Hi I have a wp account with the domain name usfashion24.com, but I cant login and then I created this new account. I was working on the WP-Admin control Panel, and accidently I put godday.com now the site usfashion24.com is redirecting to godaddy.com not to my main site. Can you please help me get my site back in my WP-Admin Account for that domain? I used wrong URL for the website and redirect website URL, I mistakenly put godaddy.com. Then Saved. Now I lost access to my account. It is showing only godday website if I vrowse the site usfashion24.com. It is redirecting to godaddy.com. How can I fix it? Is there anybody can help me, please? I remember my Admin Username, but still can’t reset the Password.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    I can certainly help you fix this. By accidentally changing the Site URL to GoDaddy, you’ve created a hard redirect that prevents you from reaching your login page. To fix this, you will need to access your site’s files via your hosting File Manager or FTP. Open the wp-config.php file and add define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://usfashion24.com’); and define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://usfashion24.com’); near the top. This will override the mistake and allow you to log back into your dashboard. If you don’t have file access, you can also update these values directly in your database using phpMyAdmin under the wp_options table.

    @james3265166

    sir thank you so much for your help. But I can’t login to usfashion24.com/wp-admin

    it automatically redirect to GoDaddy.com without giving me options for wp-admin page.

    Even when I tried searching my username, it says such username doesn’t exist to reset password.

    please help .

    Thanks 🙏

    Because the Site URL was changed to GoDaddy, the website is performing a ‘hard redirect’ before you can reach the login screen. This also causes the ‘username not found’ error because the login request is being sent to the wrong location. To fix this, you must bypass the WordPress dashboard and edit the wp-config.php file directly through your hosting provider’s File Manager. By adding define(‘WP_HOME’,’https://usfashion24.com’); and define(‘WP_SITEURL’,’https://usfashion24.com’); to that file, you will override the mistake and restore access to your admin panel and your account credentials.

    I purchased the domain only from namecheap but I installed it with a theme on WordPress (,still on free plan for researching). So, if WordPress is my hosting platform, should I create another account (I already did) and change/edit the wp-config.php file of the new WordPress account dashboard?

    thanks

    Since you are using the WordPress.com free plan, you won’t have access to the wp-config.php file or a hosting File Manager. Instead, you need to log in to your original WordPress.com account and navigate to the site settings through the WordPress.com global dashboard (the ‘blue’ interface), rather than the site’s own WP-Admin (the ‘black’ interface). If the redirect prevents you from reaching the settings, you will need to use the official WordPress.com Recovery Form. The support team can manually reset your Primary Domain back to your original address, which will break the redirect loop and allow you to log back in.
