Worms Be Wild

Has it got anything slightly to do with obi-wan? Son of a saber I’m in

That cadet and Padawan assigned to each other awoke the urge for Padawan-Obi and Cadet Cody

So have another coodle

Alpha-17 tested Cody’s willingness to scream at a superior (himself obviously) if someone (him again obviously) strongarmed Obi-wan’s hand away from Cody. Alpha-17 lost.

You may also noy hold Obi-wan’s other hand he needs to be able to hold a weapon (understandably)

Vision I had a few weeks ago, where it’s like Fairy jedi, and the concept on mandalorians taking Padawan braids as trophies.

WARNING described limb cutting off and inflicting wounds onto one’s self and others

Mandalorians consider hunting a fairy and taking its wings, which are then embossed/ a goran does a special kind of magic smithing to imprint the wings into the armour, enchanting it a bit tho tgat could just be a child’s story.

Anyway, son of the Mand’alor, Cody befriends a fairy Obi-wan, and they quickly trust and enjoy each others company. However one thing leads to another Cody wasn’t the one to hunt Obi-wan persay, but the blood hungry audience is convinced he tricked the trickster so to him thr wings should go and Obi-wan’s wings are cut from him. And Against Cody’s own heart but still choice under the pressure of family and kingdom his armour is marked by Obi-wans wings. There on his metal soul, his backplate though the wings were large enough to wrap around slightly. He feels it’s just for the backstabbing.

Years later it comes to a head. Obi-wan wasn’t a Padawan when his wings were taken. And Mandalorians had no knowledge that should a fairy survive their wings being taken (as few due) they become ragged and wild from magic. Their wings of light guiding the magic around them, soothing and kind. Without them there is no light to guide them or the magic that can never truely be taken as long as they breath becomes cruel and mean. And so they become fearful and angry, hurt and tormented.

Obi-wan tried to go home but home couldnt be found to him anymore and that hurt more and the magic got wildly and stronger and harsher.

Soon Mandalore and the Jedi had to work together against a evil. And this Evil had been using Obi-wan like a grief and pain battery of magic, and when unleashed he goes beserk onto them.

The Jedi who never knew what happened to him are horrified, horrified more that Cody who had been standing along side them had been wearing his wings (he kept the backplates and any playes with the wings on them hidden much to the displeasure of his father)

But it gives them hope, a half study half hypothesis that Cody could become a magic conductor just long enough to reignite Obi-wan’s wings and have them reattached to Obi-wan.

Full suited Cody and a half mad Obi-wan baring his back to them again. Using the kind of irons that burn Fairies, Cody reopens the scars on Obi-wan, his own hands wounded and bleeding hold against them as he embraces Obi-wan who struggles and howls against it all. And Cody hopes, he apologises, he pleads and tells Obi-wan no matter what it has to be made okay again, he promises he will make it okay again.

And it works… in a way?

The wings reignited! However they failed to reignite Obi-wan. There seeming to phase through his plates Cody sees the dust and glow radiating off them before he feels them.

The wings are on him?

Cody’s a fairy now?

He’s stunned about that horrible notion he kind of forgets Obi-wan is in his arms. But as Cody twists to try and shake off? Chase? The wings, He jostles Obi-wan, who now he notices! Has calmed, seemingly mesmerised? Or lost? Basking! in the light of his wings who are flicking and whisping behind Cody WHOS DEFINITELY NOT A FAIRY. Removing the plates doesn’t even let him shed them.

And now he and Obi-wan are bonded. And technically that half baked idea was half true Cody did become a conduit. A lighthouse whose light keeps the wild magic away from Obi-wan. Obi-wan’s fairy family reconnect with him and now they know where he is and what happened they offer all they can to mend his mind, body and soul. A process both Cody and Obi-wan benefit from and helps them to heal their hearts together.

Rex gets punched for making the first knight in shining armour.

Just know in his heart, Cody was devastated when he meet Obi-wan as his new general and his hair was cut. Not because He though Obi-wan was less good lucking for it, but because it meant Alpha-17 got to hold something over his head and that is the worse thing. and is patiently playing the long game, slowly dropping suggestions to try and subconsciously convince Obi-wan to grow his hair out so Alpha-17 and the alphas can stop taunting him about missing out
