According to everyone, Uchiha Madara has done many things wrong in life.

He never performed as well in school as his colleagues. He didn’t choose a profitable major. He didn’t get a good enough job, and still hasn’t landed a promotion. At 35, he isn’t yet married with kids. And it’s probably because he’s fat and lazy, according to his father.

But there are many things Tajima doesn’t know about his eldest son.

Madara hasn’t loved anyone other than Senju Hashirama for as long as he can remember. But when his best friend and boss gets engaged, Madara descends into a downward spiral. When he comes out, he realizes all he’ll ever be is a disappointment. So why try to be anything else?

See his latest failure: falling in love with his cousin.

Technically, Kyoko is his third cousin twice-removed. He checked. And Father would still murder him if he found out.

But Madara does not intend to recover from this “shortcoming.” To Kyoko, all of his blemishes are beautiful. And maybe, just maybe, his many pitfalls aren’t what they seem. Is anything really so objective? Is he really a failure?

Based on some rumblings I heard, I ended up quickly throwing together a fun little WIP bingo sheet! I’ll admit I largely wrote the prompts for writing, but I think a good number of them should also apply to art!

Ultimately, the goal is to have fun, and finish whatever WIPs you can (without burning yourself out or having a bad time). If you needed a sign to pick up that project you’ve been putting off, the time is now!

was listening back to some songs that helped me get through my first years in highschool.

back then i still had some motivation to walk out of the house to get myself picked up by the bus and reach the mountains, where a city i barely truly knew but still called home sat and included the building where learning took place; one of the many i understood but hadn’t really bothered to get attached to.

there was always other thoughts to get to. how nobody would ever appreciate me, how difficult it was to have no one both inside and outside the house to confide to…

… and that was because my sister was missing.
