heya, here i am lurking in the shadows

the past year has been unpleasant, when ruska died i lost pretty much the only thing keeping me together so i’ve been spiraling pretty spectacularly lol. it is what it is, turns out i need to have a reason to go outside or i just don’t

things are looking up though, i’m getting a new dog in june (my beautiful son comes home immediately after dokomi — where i’ll be btw, booth 5b77, come say hi and idk, buy vintage sheith if you’re there)

lol yeah tell me about it, s8 literally plunged me into a depressive episode that still hasn’t ended (i mean it wasn’t the only reason by a long shot and i was already depressed but yeah it did escalate things to a truly hilarious degree)

i’d probably just go to like the 1950s, run around buck naked, and get sent to a picturesque psychiatric hospital in the countryside bc if i’m gonna have to survive without modern medicine i’d rather suffer somewhere pretty without any responsibilities

she is very old and still a nervous wreck lol

her wretched old organs can’t deal with almost any foreign substances anymore, which is especially cool now that she once again needs some surgery but cannot tolerate anti-inflammatory pain medication at all so her post-operative pain relief is either basically nothing or, like, fentanyl. looking forward to that
