‼️NOT THAT BIG OF A SPOILER FOR THE NEW SUPERMAN MOVIE BUT STILL‼️
The funniest thing about the new Superman movie was that the civilians of Metropolis fled to Gotham out of all places to not be in danger 😭
How I feel reading smut while being scared of intimacy in real life
my life lately
no thoughts, just superman’s lips.
at the end of the day, does the reader insert tag still belong to readers, or is it just a front for some OC writers to use it?
Honestly, it doesn’t even make sense to browse that tag on AO3 anymore, it’s completely flooded.
i have a theory that even if readers created a new tag just for themselves, those writers would still take it over, because they can’t stand seeing something that belongs to us.
just a reminder that doing this goes against AO3’s rules (Misleading or inaccurate tagging, Tag misuse, Rating misclassification, Improper categorization, Content affecting search and filtering etc)

not arguing that noah wyle isn't a zionist but there's a huge difference between using something's name and being a zionist. his connection to an israel supporting synagogue is the actual huge problem, the israeli bandage is not. that's what it's called. it may have another technical name but in the field, in the ER, it's called the israeli bandage. there are multiple emergency bandaging techniques and supplies, so instead of clarifying in an emergent situation, if you say israeli bandage, everyone knows what you mean because that's how it's taught.
now, should it be taught that way or renamed? that's another argument. as a palestine supporting jewish american with no recent family from israel or any real israeli ties, no. it was invented by an israeli medic, that's just a fact. being israeli doesn't immediately mean bad. that's just racist. could it be named after bar-natan instead? sure. but he's israeli so if you're logic is to be believed, that would also be bad. it's a lifesaving bandage created during a humanitarian NATO mission, not some evil israeli creation to kill the people they're terrorizing.
context matters. and just saying that anything association with israel is bad is horrifically racist and offensive on your part.
sure, whatever. Israeli is a nationality, not a race, so calling me a racist is one hell of a stretch, especially considering most Israelis are American or European dual citizens, and there’s Jews of various races choosing to carpet bomb with the IOF. call the bandage whatever you want, i guess, but don’t EVER call me a racist towards a *nationality*, again, not a *race*, that’s majority white, genocidal, and inherently racist in nature and design.
also, if that were true, why do they refer to the bandaging technique as both the ‘Israeli’ and its formal name? it could’ve been left out, and yet it wasn’t. besides, The Pitt itself is based off of Israeli hospitals that “took in” Palestinians bc Gaza “didn’t have good enough doctors” or whatever the hell Wyle said. like, gee, Noah, i wonder why their hospitals are subpar.
