I used before in the car engine
The oil did not suit MAZDA: - increased oil consumption, - problems with spark plugs, - blue smoke came out of the exhaust pipe. I will not buy CASTROL oil anymore and do not recommend it for old engines.

Needed as the car takes 5.5 litres of oil and I only have 5 litres at home.
Castrol has the best combination of high flash point and viscosity (kinematic 100C), which is 12.3 (almost an SAE 40 rating). 0w allows for faster warm up in the winter. During summer months, if driving hard I might use Castrol Edge 5w40.
Good combination of additives and modifiers for a multi-grade oil and conforms with VW505.01
Using is for last 16 years in Audi and never failed me.
