Commercial Nissan Urvan minivans were being produced in 1973-2012. Four generations were presented during that time.

Nissan Urvan cars production started in 1973. Cars were available in minivan and van versions. Cars with 2350 mm and 2730 mm wheelbase were on the market.

Car was widely used for emergency services need in Europe. Many fire fighter and ambulance cars, based on Nissan Urvan E20, Nissan Urvan E21 and Nissan Urvan E22 can be seen nowadays.

Second generation cars – Nissan Urvan E23 – appeared on the market in August 1980. Nissan Royal and Nissan Elgrand Royal Line concepts, based on platform of Nissan UrvanE23 were presented on Tokyo Motor Show in 1981. Cars were reequipped to luxury motor homes for businessmen needs.

Third Nissan Urvan generation production started in 1986. Manufacturing was set up at Makati factories (Philippines) and Thika (Kenya).

Basic configuration of this car was equipped with cruise-control and electronic dashboard. Car is still manufactured by license in Kenya because of high demand for third generation.

Production of Nissan Urvan E24 in Philippines was ended in 2015.

Company started Nissan Urvan E25 – fourth generation – production in 2001. Car had common platform with Nissan Titan. Manufacturing was established in Angola, Japan and Philippines. Wheelbase was 2715 mm.

Company presented Nissan Urvan NV350 in 2011 during Tokyo Motor Show. Car came on market only in the middle of next year. The fifth-generation production was established at factories in Kanda, Fukuoka and Kyushu cities (Japan).

Nissan Urvan NV350 cars were noted for high economy. Power plants were modified to meet all actual Japanese fuel consumption standards. Wheelbase was 2555 mm.

In some countries this car was sold under Datsun brand. It was also known as Isuzu Homy, Isuzu Como, Nissan Caravan and Nissan Homy. The fifth generation was sold as Mitsubishi Fuso Canter Van.
