This brake wheel cylinder is completely defective and dangerously unsafe. On the very first brake application after installation, the cylinder failed catastrophically. The internal piston blew out and brake fluid leaked immediately. This is not a minor defect — this is a total failure of a critical safety component. A brake part that cannot survive its first use should never be sold. This put me at real risk and forced me to stop the repair immediately. I expect a full refund and an explanation for how such a dangerous product passed quality control. I strongly advise others to avoid this product.
As the rear flexi hoses need replacing its easier to replace these at the same time. Due to the age of the car, bleeding the old ones could mean the bleed nipples shear off so its easier just to purchase new ones to save time if they do.
