(Stress Vent) Commission Calamity

Hello everyone! This is Parker.
Today, I had a very stressful moment involving a commission: I had commissioned Alexa Morgan, an artist from the Netherlands who makes furry art. Actually, I didn’t come up with the idea of commissioning them; they offered to draw me something after I liked and retweeted a piece of their art that

Anyway, I was able to convince my father and stepmother to get me a $50 Amazon gif card and Morgan attempted to redeem the gift card to pay for the commission, but to no avail, so I used my credit card instead. The attempt with the credit card was successful, but I had to create a PayPal account first and I linked my credit card with it. The trouble started after I attempted to log back in to my account but failed and I had to reset my password. In order for me to reset my password, I had to type in my social security number, which was what had my father deeply concerned and when I got home and told my father that I linked my credit card with my new PayPal account, he got a bit mad. At that point, I was in full-on panic mode and my father actually had to call PayPal’s services to unlink my credit card to my account and reset the password, which we were ultimately able to do. I plan on getting a special PayPal credit card in the future to link it to my account. It all comes to show that some people don’t understand how PayPal works and they have to undergo a lengthy process to figure it out.

Yeah, it was a quite intense situation. Hopefully, I will get the specific credit card for PayPal soon so that I can commission people, but for now, that can wait.
