Midsommar, Hereditary, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

I find this funny because of how differently I few each of these three movies.

John Carpenter's The Thing.

A classic and one I have loved since I was like 7 or 8.

Well either. I find movies don't really scare me but can still be a fun watch

Don't think there is one I would call best. Cause that would have it to stay above all the others.

But the Alien 1 and 2 sure are fantastic ones and high up there! Pet Semetary creeped me out as does Children of the Corn. Langoliers was fun.

City of the Living Dead from 1980 kinda scarred me as a kid, haha. Evil Dead of course. Cabin in the Woods (thats a horror comedy I think?) is also a very good one.

Poltergeist is another fantasic ones. Attack the Block, while not the most horror-y one hat cool monsters.

Hold up, not Aliens 4? The strongest in the series?

Also Evil dead is an instant classic and in my tops for sure.

The thing and Alien (the first) are my favorite psychological horrors.

Conjuring is worth mentioning too ^^

What did you think of insidious 1?

It's been a while but I remember I did't love it but also did't have anything to say.

Going to go with an outside choice just to fuck with people: The Wicker Man (1973).

I could make one helluva list if I started going though.

The Thing and Alien are some of my top favs. For a laugh I watch films like the Insidious film series and the Conjuring film series. Anything by Stephen King is a classic ngl as well.

Penny Dreadful is an excellent horror TV series, along with the titles From and American Horror Story.

I'm just a simp for horror x'D

I actually don't enjoy Stephen King really other then one or two films but The Thing is by far one of my favorites.

Horror as a genre is fun cause you can find real hidden gold or just the worst Dlists has to offer.

I'll recommend some of the best silent era horror movies: Nosferatu, The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and Haxan: Witchcraft Through the Ages.

I have never seen Witchcraft, but I loved Nosferatu and stand by he is cooler then most vampires

I was hyped that the void used props and not cgi for a ton of stuff. Odd ending tho

I loved it as for the ended it was open shut to leave the mind wondering about the darkness that lays beyond the light

The Void is such a great film. I’m not a fan of the movie itself (it’s overstuffed and unfocused despite having some great ideas and imagery) but it’s absolutely a must-see. It’s an even split between people who love it and who don’t. I’m so glad it exists!
