I wish you and yours an excellent 2024 beginning and further to come, Nikita!

I celebrated two birthdays this past week; my 46th IRL a week ago on December 27th, 2023, and a week later on January 3rd, 2024, my 32rd birthday as Twopaw Tarnished-Silver, when I signed up to and registered myself on the Trap Line BBS here in Toronto just after New Year's 1992.

January 1992 is my IRL birthday and by coincidence I'll be 32 this year! Almost a whole month away still, though, I was born late in the month (Jan 30th)

Damn, a thoroughly fascinating coincidence, or at least a wonderfully neat business we share in common. However it came about, I'm very happy that between a fan of big who likes to be big, and likewise fan of big who prefers to be smol, we know the same road forward- including kindness and mutual minding- rises to meet us both.

I'm happy I could wish you a Happy Birthday for the first time this year, and know that the place where my wishing came from understood itself and that understanding matched my intent. I don't think I've ever meant any poor intent in such a wish to anyone whom I sent one their way, but clarity and healthy self-confidence is one of the best things for a body's mental health, by my reckon. And part of that is being able to dismiss a lot more unnecessary doubt because of where that honest, confirmed by trusted feedback and itself self-recognized confidence comes from.

I wish I knew how to describe it better than that, Nikita. Storytelling is what I do best, by visual, narrative or oral orison. But maybe part of having a healthy confidence is that I've finally understood that while I can certainly get things wrong I do get a lot of things right, some very important things, and I can far better and easily know which is which.

I hope you're having the best day you can, and that the day's been rich with sunshine and good to your heart, as it's been likewise for me and mine.
