Moved! (Need Emergency Donations!)

General
Okay so my roommate and I are now moved into the new place, but man it was a rough time. It'll be a bit before I have everything set up so that I can work on commissions again but I have my computer partially set up for now.
What happened that we didn't expect:
The movers screwed us over. They took 3 times longer than what they initially said it would take which ended up costing us 1k (we originally went with them because we were given the impression that they'd be the cheapest option). They didn't even take all our stuff over, so we ended up having to hire a different service to take over the rest of our stuff. They also took over things that didn't need to be brought over at that moment of time (cleaning stuff that we needed to use for cleaning the old apartment). They didn't pay attention to what was written on the boxes and weren't very careful with them. They didn't watch where they were walking either. They were wishy-washy in giving us estimates as to how much longer it'd take them to move everything over and how much it'd cost us (basically they overestimated how fast they'd be). They also couldn't get our couch to our apartment so that also ended up costing us more to get it removed.
All in all, we ended up spending way more than we wanted to for this move, luckily roomie had savings but now that's pretty much depleted.
How much do we need:
My roomie needs about 3k to refill his savings to feel like he's got a comfortable safety net.
We also need at least $1,500 so we can move our new roommate to our place. She's in a very stressful situation and needs help being moved over here. She'd be in a much safer place here with plenty of resources to help her. Out of everything else, this is most important.
How you can help:
Both my roommate and I are accepting donations. Once I have my tablet set up, have more unpacked, and recover from being sore from moving, then I can work on commissions and take more.
You can donate to me here: https://ko-fi.com/sinligereep
My roommate has donations opened here: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/11133454
If you can't currently donate, please spread word.
Thank you all for all your help. I really appreciate it. This move has been really stressful, but hopefully once we get all settled in I can do a lot more.
Now I'm gonna go rest some more. I had to do a lot of cleaning and it was a lot of strain on my disabled body, so I'm super sore orz

Moving companies are normally always a scam. Make sure you always get things in writing and always read contracts when you do so they can't sneak stuff in for more money.

OP
Yeah it's just unfortunate because we would rather just move our stuff ourselves, but I'm disabled and neither of us have a car or can drive. We also just don't have anyone in the area that can help us with such things. So we're stuck with just struggling with moving companies.
