FF12 kinda had a major problem. You start to play it and it's fine and then there is a huuuuuge slope when it starts to become really boring. A reason why I stopped playing it like 8h into the game? I guess that the political aspect in this game was a wrong approach to begin with. I think people like more simpler stories with plot twists and not political wars. Most don't politics IRL to begin with. So this also translates to the problem you described here. I did like the battle system approach, but you kinda didn't feel any connection or thought any character was memorable at all.

i forget why i quite playing it but it wasn't boredom....lol...but alot of final fantasy games get kinda dull after a while....

I agree. I personally played only FF3 (I think, or 4, not sure, but lost fast my interest in it), FF6 (many hype it, I think it's far too short and the storyline is not compelling to me), FF7 (was quite the eye candy when it was released and I enjoyed it), FF8 (was neat as well, liked the story, but the draw system was meh), FF9 (only 1-2h, cause it was in german and hell...it's so bad), FF10 (my personal favourite, despite most dislike it haha), FFX-2 (ugh, yeah, such a bad buy), FF12 (explained above) and FF13 (many dislike it, I enjoyed it, but it wasn't like the OMGWTF experience)

One of the worst FF is 14 lulz, sooooo baaaaaaaaaaaaad. You must be really craving it or on drugs to play (and pay for) it. XD
They gonna release a FFXIII-2...oh my...I see not much hope for that. FFXIII versus might be good.

yeah FF12 was the last one i bought.....i have most of the ones before that...haven't finished any of them....
though i am close on final 7, that was probably the best game they made, have played Crisis Core...funnier then hell....Zacks amusing to toy with...lol

got bored with most of the others....and don't have anything beyond 12 at the moment...lol
