Yup, pierced my lip, twice and am soooooo surprised as to how much it did /not/ hurt. I got "spider bites," but really thought about getting "snake bites" though, I like them both so much. In the end I realized I likes spider bites (for me) more though, and I don't think I see enough people with them ;-;

Also, I wanna do some experimental drawings so I am taking 3 requests...post a ref of the character you want drawn, no guarantee that I will finish all 3 of these, but you can totes count on me sketching them. This is not a first come first serve thing. I'm mostly looking for characters that I'd sort of be in the mood to draw.
OH, AND ABOUT THE PIXEL ICONS. I want to do a few more of those too actually, they are quite fun. I plan on finishing 6 more of those, but we will see.

I have snake bites myself, and so does my girlfriend. [ We once got hooked together. lol! ] So I do have to agree with you. Spider bites are so under loved that it's not funny. x3

Just my ear lobes! I have them gauged to 6s right now. Later though, I wanna get an industrial piercing and then probably get my septum pierced.
By the way, would you mind if I drew Pandor and Varian in the same image? If so then can you tell me a bit about their personalities and hobbies? I wanna do some character interaction drawings. If not though, then that's cool. c:

I wanna gauge my ears too... but I'm kinda... like hesitating about it. Is it difficult? Does it hurt?

Pandora is kinda a new character and my girlfriend hasn't figured her much, but she's telling me that she's sort of mischievous. She likes to play tricks on people, but all in good fun. She never really means to hurt anyone's feelings with her play. She likes to do Parkour and she reads a lot. She said other than that, she's not too sure. Still working it out.
Varian is currently like a child. He is very curious and nice. He was murdered and put back together, so he tends to fall apart a lot. He stitches himself up or has his girlfriend Illyria to stitch him up when he needs it. When he was alive he was like a punk kid. Think of those Ska-lovers. He was into skateboarding, hacky-sack, ect. After a while he will be getting more like that if you want to draw him like that too.
I think I got some 12gauge ones and they didn't really hurt to put in, you just feel a quick sting at first. I skipped 10 gauge and went to 8s and they also didn't really hurt. Again, just a sting. For me one side always hurts a little more than the other though. I think 6s hurt less, probably because I took a warm shower right before I put them in.
Personally I wouldn't say gauging hurts that much, it stings for about the first 8 seconds when you put them in, but then it goes away rather quick. Other people who had their ears pierced for yeaaars say it didn't hurt them at all so assume it's different for every person. If you do wanna stretch/gauge your ears though I recommend using "Pinchers" I used Spirals mostly, but that 6g pincher hardly hurt and it's also harder for things to get caught on it, like hair. I always put some lotion on the earring to make it slide through easier. Some people buy something called "holy butter" for that though http://www.kingsbodyjewelry.com/ima.....jojoba%202.JPG

Because, I was thinking it would go rather smoothly, but I think with this all in mind if I do get it done I will be very careful. I was thinking pinchers too, but I wasn't sure, but now I am. xD Thank you so much. Are you happy with your gauges then? No mind changing after you did it?
