I’ve been encouraged remembering all the fond memories with friends and family over the years, and seeing how somehow we all survived 2020. This years present for me, is seeing a hope in a return to normal, a return to our lives. But in the meantime, we have each other.

I had an idea for a new griffin character, and was wondering if any artists might be able to help me sketch out an idea and do a few revisions.

Here’s my current description from my ideas discord:

“ So idea so far (and this is without visualizing it, so we might change things lol).

She is a griffin, with the classic head of a bald-eagle style griffin (see pictures above), and a peak with a curved dip like the eagles. The head part of her body is a light whitish blue. After the head, the light color extends down the middle like a fur pattern. On the sides of the lighter fur (feather pattern), is a darker light blue. Along the two sides of her waist is a lotus feather pattern that is whitish yellow (perhaps a gradient?) at the center of the lotus petal, white petals seem to flow around it.

For wings, she would have a blue top of the wings, that fade to white, and then to a light yellowish tan (I was thinking the color of the lion half).

Then, at her waist is an abrupt stop (this might change?), where the feathers overflow, and the lion half begins. For paws, she would have lion paws and a lion tail. I don’t know what color the lion tiff would be yet.

I've been seeing a lot of peeps post their fursona that they created on HeroForge lately. Well, if you'd like a model 3D printed and painted, feel free to send me a message! I do resin 3D prints with my Phrozen Sonic Mini and have slowly started taking commissions for miniatures and such!

I’ve been looking at setting up a business account for my miniature painting side hustle. I’ve been trying to figure out how to ship these models and such, as ideally I could label the business name as opposed to my personal name. Along with a business email and payment account.

There’s obviously PayPal as an option, I’d probably create a business account. I’ve also heard good things about Square, but haven’t seen it used much for art here, but you can send invoices and such?

What payment platforms do you like?

Also, if you’re an artist, what do you like? Any issue shoves encountered?

Hi all! I’m thinking about starting a Etsy page for my miniatures I’ve painted, so it’s easier to setup commissions and also 3D print things for people. I have a model I own personally of my centauress, Poinsettia that I can 3D print and sell at the permission of the artist I commissioned, Volpebox.

Anyways, it’d be great to start doing more painting commissions now that my weekends are free again after a month of camping each weekend, and 3D printing things for people that need them.

What would be a good account name? Or shop name? I’d like to allude to the lioness, or lions, or a Savannah, but exclude Ah’lina from the name.

And I’d need to think of a logo too...
