I bought an expansion pack from Impulsedriven.com for a game I got from D2D, and guess what?
It needed the serial information for the base-game, so I went looking back into the e-mail D2D gave me, and, well whaddya know?
NO SERIAL NUMBER! And I need that in order to download the expansion!
I managed to, somehow, get the expansion pack downloading, but seriously? Are Direct2Drive's staff SO lazy, the don't give you the serial number? Screw them, next time I'm buying something, it's either retail or another digital-download site...all of the hassle for it, and I still dunno if the expansion will even WORK...

First ever: Demo Reviews

Overview: This new video game from Visceral Games, the team that brought Dead Space, is a loose adaptation of Dante's Divine Comedy. Explained in the demo: Dante is an Italian soldier who takes part of the Third Crusade, part of the military force that captures Acre in 1191. For reasons unknown, he stitches a cross-shaped tapestry onto his torso, detailing his life. According to the in-game history, King Richard holds 3,000 innocent citizens hostage for ransom, attempting to get some sort of Holy Relic from the Kurdish defender of the Holy Land, Saladin. However, he digs in under the hot summer, and refuses to negotiate, leaving Richard unsure of whether to attack Jerusalem. The fate of the prisoners are left undecided.
First Impression: When I started the game, I couldn't help, but admire the detail they put into it. Very detailed, stunning and beautiful. I LOVED the artwork they did for animated cutscenes, almost as if they hired painters specializing in Medieval artwork to do it. The combat was fluid, fast-paced, and loads of fun. So far in the demo, the first fight is the most intense you'll find, since flaming cannonballs fly at you from distance ships on the coast.
Personal Opinion(s): I...can't really find anything wrong with this game so far. I mean, it's fun, the controls are reasonable to me, the world is detailed and very creative spots within the demo, and the framerate...holy crap, from all the detail, enemy action and other stuff, I'm surprised it didn't tank. But, no, it held a pretty high rate, allowing efficient fun...
Possible Controversies: Unbaptized babies: kill enough of them, and you earn the reward "Bad Nanny". I, however, think that the reaction it got from some nanny group is just ridiculous. The theme is, literally, going to hell and killing Lucifer to get your love back, and keep him from getting into Heaven, unbaptized babies are part of it. Deal with it.
Score: 8/10
Closing Comments/Score Explanation: There are only two of four difficulties available, named Classic (Easy) and Zealot (Normal). Enemy AI could use a little work. The only thing the difficulty changes about them is how strong their attacks are. They just walk around you, like target practice. I only counted being hit 25 times by...maybe a little more then a hundred enemies.
However, those are the only faults I can find within this game demo. It's JUST released on Xbox Live Game Marketplace. Go and check it out! It is LOADS of fun. I definitely recommend this!

Random Question (Apocalypse-related)
General | Posted 16 years agoOkay, I was playing DEFCON: Everybody Dies a minute ago, and NOW, this question pops up:
What if you were playing against an opponent, human/CPU or whatever, and both of you started nuking the fuck outta each other in the game, but then after you exit the game, a news article pops up and says that the cities that were nuked in-game, were destroyed by the same circumstances IRL, what would be the first thing you do?
For me: raid a gun-store, get some kevlar, and go RAIDER!

Got my dad's cold, which spread from work. About two weeks it's been here. Nasty coughs, nose on overdrive, occasional headaches...
Plus, I've hit a wall. I don't have the motivation nor a desire to continue work on my literature stuff, even my upcoming fanfic I don't feel like working on...
And finally...I've developed a fandom for a new TV Series! Biker Mice from Mars

Species: Unspecific, Canine class...closely resembles a jackal
Weight: 207 ibs.
Height: Six feet Three
Fur color: Unknown, never seen
Personality: Slightly dull, observant, witty, intelligent, has a large vocabulary, has a sense of honor
Physical Description: Titanium-plated torso, multi-functioning weapon/tool on left arm, hydraulic legs, advanced sight capabilities (night vision, x42 zoom, tracker, etc.), helmet seen on avatar (mine)
Age: Around 204 years old
Family: Andrew Sturmfengraft, Soul-brother (since he has no blood, this is as close as he can get. It functions like your mom giving birth to a boy); Leo, Jane, and Heh'haj, comrades
Inspiration (more like based off of XD): Temple Guardian from Sacred 2
