Yes folks after a year of working on it and long months promising its imminent release, it is finally here!
My Debut EP "Jake" will be on sale on Bandcamp tomorrow at 9pm GMT. Available to download and limited physical copies available.

Debut EP and First Single - Life Update
General | Posted 8 years agoHey guys, long time no talk, I'm just putting a quick thing out there about my upcoming EP!
Huh, I guess this is the official FA announcement about it... I've got an upcoming EP entitled ''Jake''.
I've had a bunch of friends and well known furry musicians help me out with my debut project, and it's coming to a close in the next couple of months. It'll have 4 tracks and 2 bonus tracks (early/live demos of the tracks and/or new material), will be of much higher quality than what you can see on here and will be available on my Bandcamp: https://joemartin100.bandcamp.com/releases
As a practice run at using Bandcamp I have released an early demo version of one of the songs featured on the EP as a free single, so please do check it out, and leave a tip if you like, anything would help go towards the cost of printing CDs! https://joemartin100.bandcamp.com/releases
This project has been a long time in the making and I'm so excited to see the finished product and finally start building a name for myself in the furry music and con circuit, speaking of which you are likely to see me at some (if not all) of these cons:

I will make it my mission to perform at all of these where I can, it may not be a full show, but look out for me in concerts and other things.
After this crazy con year is over I will be buckling down and going to University in September 2018 to hopefully study Fashion and Performance Hair and Makeup, a recent passion of mine and something that I am excited about making a career out of. After a few years out of school I finally feel ready to go to Uni and I really can't wait, until then I'll still be working hard as Manager of a restaurant here in Bristol.
So anyway, the EP will be out in the coming months, please keep an eye out as I shall be posting here more and likely asking some of my friends to signal boost it, as this is such a huge project for me.

Life Update!
General | Posted 9 years agoSo I have not really posted much here in 2016 and that's mainly because I have not had much to post, I don't really buy too much art any more (trying to save more) and music motivation has been at an all time low, so I've just not really had anything to say here. I am more active on twitter though: https://twitter.com/JakeM_Wolf
2016 has been a strange year, It started very 'meh' but then took a happy upwards turn when I went to Just Fur The Weekend (a small first year con here in the south west of England, check it out http://justfurtheweekend.org.uk/) and met a load of great friends and decided to become a staffer for next year. Following this I moved out of my parents' place and to the city (Bristol) where I got a shitty job but I quickly left that for a much better one as Assistant Manager, but was promoted to General Manager after about a month. Yay! That was my summer pretty much.
Everything was great, however 3 weeks ago I was made redundant (the company was not making enough money and could not afford to keep me on) and that has really hit me hard, my pride and confidence have taken a strong knock (I really loved that job) and it has been very stressful and scary, I have just started a new job but I am unsure how good it is going to be as the company is very disorganised and I do not like that, so I am still looking around but this time of year it is very hard to find a decent job.
My love life has been fairly non-existent, sadly, I was casually dating someone for most of Spring/Summer but that didn't lead to anything so I have been feeling quite lonely in that department.
So yeah, this year has taken a bit of a downward spiral as of late, I can't say I am particularly happy but I am aware things could be a lot worse. I just have to take each day at a time, it's been very up and down, one day I am positive about things and think it won't be forever, and then others all I want to do is cry because I don't know what to do, no decent job, no relationship and hardly any friends. Heh, woe is me, eh?
I hope things will get better, and I hope to get a good job soon so I can start to commission art of Jake being a slut again.

I won't go into too much detail, but it was probably one of the most eventful years of my life, I'm so grateful for all of my friends who stuck by me and helped me through the difficult times and are still with me now.
A big thank you to the BristolFurs for making me feel so welcome in your community, I look forward to our meets every 5 weeks!
And now here's to 2016! I'm entering it Single, job hunting, house hunting. I think this will be a great year, and I can't wait for it! :D
