Cheetah Spots
General | Posted 5 years agoSo I'm doing something a little different for my October-related daily ink drawing challenge this year. I've had some ideas for a little mini-comic story about a mousy girl who just wants to be a cheetah bouncing around in my head for a while now, but I've been too intimidated to actually put pen to paper. So I decided that's what I'm going to do this month. Just one panel a day, hopefully that won't overwhelm me. I don't really know exactly where it's going, or exactly what the hell I'm doing trying to write a comic. But here goes nothing. I hope you all enjoy it at least.
FWA 2019!
General | Posted 6 years agoSo I know I've not posted much in a little while. Work's been keeping me busy (...also I have a bad habit of doing doodles and forgetting to post them.)
But after a little bit of persuasion from
CoyPowers, I'm gonna be going to FWA this year. I'm still SUPER new to the con scene though, so I'm a little nervous, and going in a bit blind. I'm gonna try and get a spot in the artist alley, but I dunno what I should be doing or bringing. I'd love to get some feedback from you all. What do you like to see from an artist in artist alley? What grabs your attention, or what sort of things do you look for or usually buy?
Oh. So, one more thing too. I wanted to give a quick thank you to all of you who've supported me here. This page was really a way for me to dip a toe into a community that I've never been a part of before, and something I was really nervous about. You've all been incredible and shown me nothing but love and support. You guys are the best.
So I guess if I'm gonna have a booth, I'm gonna be selling some of my art. So I guess its only fair that you all who've actually supported me here get to see it first. I know I've only posted little doodles and sketches here, but I've actually got a pretty sizable body of work. I run a little art studio full time called Black Wing Studio where I do fantasy/sci-fi art ( https://imgur.com/gallery/ImqAz ), as well as a little side business of Magic: the Gathering custom art alters (https://www.facebook.com/BlackWingAlters/ ) Most of what I do isn't furry stuff, but I do dip into it from time to time.
I'm gonna throw up a few of my actual finished pieces that I think you guys might like. I'll bring prints of some of them to FWA too.
You guys are all amazing, and the Furry community as a whole has been so incredible. Thank you all again, from the bottom of my heart, and hopefully I'll see a few of you in Atlanta.

Hello world.
General | Posted 8 years agoCheetahs are naturally very skiddish in a new environment. So it's only natural that I'd find myself incredibly nervous posting here for the first time. I'm brand new to FA, and just about as new to the furry community. I'm not even exactly sure what I should be saying in this! Thank you all for being so welcoming as a community. I think I'm really looking forward to being a part of such a wonderful group of people! I hope my work is up to everyone's standards.
