Why the change? Riz has been my name for 14 years and she's not quite who I am anymore. And seeing as I use my character Wysh for everything, it only seemed fair that I start going by Wysh (Wyshikins).

General | Posted 6 years agoWelp! It's a new year. And it's my hope that I'll produce even more art this year and be able to do it full time! Now, just got to keep my head up, stay motivated, and do the best I can! Maybe it's that fresh year spirit, but I'm feeling really hopeful for 2020 <3

General | Posted 7 years agoRecently, I've been a funk. And by recently, I mean nearly all the time in the past 7 years. It's the 'I can't move out because I'm stuck at home with no job, no car, and I live off commissions that are incredibly unstable and make things unsustainable' funk. So I guess what I'm asking for is help.
SOME BACKSTORY. I live in a little Indiana town with 1200 people. The job market is utter crap and there's not much going for me in this area. I can't move out. There's no where for me to go. I don't have a car. Can't afford one. My only hope for getting a car at this point is if the deal I made with a friend, for making cake toppers in trade of an old car of his, pans out. It needs new break lines and it's rusty, but it'd be my first car.
So right now, my living is commissions, which as I said, are pretty unstable. Not only are they so, but I'm also having trouble with people expecting things for free, so any hopes of an actual commission are dashed and I have to turn them down.
"So how can I help?" You may ask. Well, there's not much anyone can do unless it's helping to spread my name and work around a bit. So really, all I can ask of you to do is if you receive a commission or a gift from me, please post it ;u; Word of mouth (or I suppose word of text in the case of online circumstances) can be amazing and could potentially help an incredible amount.
If you read this, thank you for reading and letting me vent a bit into your eyeballs.
