As you know, I absolutely hate the whole, “Magic Muscle Growth” or “Magic Muscle Drink” “Magic Muscle Victim” etc. crap. Muscle is earned through hard work and sacrifice.” The harder the work, the better the results.”

I was just listening to a philosophic lecture by Stephan Molyneux about themes of female centered child films, Frozen and other such films. One of the themes of female heroes is that their power and achievement comes magic, and more specifically magic that is innate and not derived through hard work and practice. These female heroes discover their magic instantly and do not need to delay their gratification to one day be their best.

If you will notice in guy/boys films, the hero must often hone his skills through constant drilling, learning, practice and sacrifice. This perfection does not come over night and takes delayed gratification. It is only through such hard work that the male hero can overcome his enemy and truly achieve greatness.

The conclusion of this lecture is the detrimental lesson being taught to young girls about how you do not get what you want through hard work but rather you are simply handed what you want on a silver platter. I find this to be greatly disturbing.
The only way to gain what you want in this world is through hard work, self-sacrifice, suffering and delayed gratification. This goes for gaining muscle or any other thing worth achieving in life.

I know it is some months off, but is there anyone in Minnesota who wants to go snowmobiling this winter? Or if you will be in Minnesota this winter. I will actually have spare snowmobiles if you do not have one.
