» with the first batch of everything for class due within the next 10 days (literally 5 assignments over the span of the same week) I'll be logging off of Telegram and not posting during that time. - for those who don't know i'm studying a degree at University which requires my full attention as it's solely art based and very time consuming to micromanage all my works.

» It gives me anxiety to not post frequently, and ceasing posts when i know people like seeing my art, and i know with the way the world works, people will definitely unfollow in my absence because they're not seeing what they like, which i know shouldn't bother me but it does.

» I guess i want to say sorry for the lack of posting, and soon to be lack of posting but i really do need to try and get good grades for University. I need to get 90+/100 to get accepted or offered a place in their Honours course for the degree. Honours means i can go and work in America and Europe for animation and game companies, which if i don't get into honours, i won't be able to apply for work there and will be restricted to only Australia, which if i was doing anything other than 2D illustration and concept art, it wouldn't be a hard choice but Australia only has VFX companies, not the pre-production work.

» i hate the fact that i'm not posting enough, i hate the fact i've not properly touched comms in over a month and i feel like i let everyone down because of my tunnel vision to try and get into Honours, which is something i never had an ambition for until i started writing my comic. If i got into Honours, we spend a year focusing on our own self-lead project, which means for the whole year i'd ONLY be doing my comic while studying and none of the trillion other things they make me do. Then if i pass Honours, it provides a whole league of job opportunities i've never allowed myself to consider because i've never been within touching distance of that till i started this degree last year.

» oops this is a long rant, i'm very sorry for that xmx - but yeah, i'll be back to posting after the 30th of August. That's when my last of the first batch of work is due, then we'll get through the second batch that's due in October. It'll probably only be character design and figure drawing, possibly some world building art i'll be sharing but yeah. I guess i'm just sorry. So yeah... sorry.

i return from my travels (obviously known by the above sketches) and will be returning to working on all the comms, thus have decided to post this post to inform you of the situation!

- If you have paid for your comm, I will be dedicating my time over this week to get organised with them now i have copied all the files over onto my new PC and get them finished as soon as possible. I am very VERY much sorry about the delay on them, classes and mental health really hit me hard this year.
- If you are on the waitlist and haven't paid, i will be sending out messages to confirm if you still want to go ahead with the commission. You are plenty welcome to back out if now is not the time for you, i know how the economy is, and i know Christmas and such is around the corner - i'd rather you save your money if you can and i am happy to plop your comm slot on a separate list to reserve for future if you so wish.
- i will be releasing a couple of YCHs once i have finished my immediate commissions list, so keep an eye out for them.

I also wish to say that in the New Year i'll be changing up my method of taking commissions and will be trying to set up a day a week JUST for commissions (subject to more if classes are kind as 2nd year for this degree is when they start looking at students for the honours/masters slots).

So yes, sorry for the big word vomit, i am still so grateful you all follow me. I am also forever in friendship debt of you who support me when i get down in the dumps and sad vibes, you don't understand how much it means to me that people like my art, and choose to stay around while i'm in my sad vibes. I know how tiring it can be and how exhausting it is to hear me rant and rave, so thank you.

I think i'm burnt out - it's pretty obvious to those around me that i'm having a bit of a tough time of things.
Between my irl job and online friendships, physical / mental un-wellness and just... drama all the goddamn time - i'm a little bit flat and tired of things.

As an artist right now, i can't stand looking at my work. I start something and chug along through it and then i get to a point where my brain flicks a switch and i can't draw that work anymore.. I'm caught in this turmoil of "i like where this is going" to "fuck this i can't look at that piece of shit" instantly. It's not that i don't want to draw or don't want to create art, it's my brain is telling me i can't do it, that i don't have what it takes to be an artist, i don't have the talent or the skill or any sort of redeeming quality.

I'm not even going to touch base on my lifestyle at the moment, everything is just overwhelming and exhausting and i really do be struggling. I feel like i'm drowning in this big ocean that i created for myself and i can't seem to find anything to stay afloat or a reason to keep going and pushing and looking for that silver lining.

So if you see me deleting things off here, or uploading works that are barely cleaned sketches or venting works that make no sense what-so-ever, please don't judge too hard. I'm very tired and weak at the moment.

I'm just barely able to make myself brush my teeth and have a shower every day at the moment, i'm just that tired of everything. - i'm sorry for the disappointment.
