Amazing show you should watch! (G)
So of all of you folks who don't already know, I'm a little obsessed with WW2. Well there this show on Hulu that if you haven't alredy checked it out, you should. The Supersizers Go...
Here's a description: "In The Supersizers Go..., British restaurant critic, Giles Coren, and comedienne, Sue Perkins, eat their way through history. From Roman times to the French Revolution to the Great War, Giles and Sue eat, live and play for a full week exclusively the way people did back then."
From the very first episode I was hooked, because as luck would have it, they start out eating just as they did in wartime London, but the best part are all of the little factoids thrown in throughout the episode. So much stuff I didn't know!
Also, if you stick with the show there's an episode where they explore the life and eats of the 1920s as well. Check it out if you can!
