When Panda and I got our own place here we needed a roommate so our friend Trent moved in. With him, along came his girlfriend Michelle. This young lady is pretty, smart, talented and charming. The problem we ran into was her not having a job. Back in October we told her she had a month to find a job. I had even had a spot open where I work because a girl quit and we needed a new one. She didn't show up for the interview which was the day after I told her about it. When I got home that day I asked her what happened and she told me she just didn't feel like going, so that chance passed. I gave her applications for places near to the house because she has no car and she didn't fill out a single one. Panda thought my limit of a moth was too harsh, so he gave her until December. Here we are, half through December and nothing has been done.

We told Trent tonight that she has a week to either magically find a job or move out of our house. Trent is now trying to bring up points like our friend Kris who is "here literally every night, but doesn't live here and doesn't contribute anything"- (Trent quote). Kris has done more for us than Michelle ever has. Kris has helped us pay our bills when we ran short, he bought us milk, meat and toilet paper the other night because we had none. Just out of the kindness of his heart. We haven't gotten a single dollar, a single dish washed nor a finger lifted to offer and sort of help around the house by Michelle. When we bring this up to Trent he just gets all huffy and sighs.

He keeps trying to bring up some point about why she should be allowed to stay or saying its bs that he has to kick his girlfriend out so suddenly, but honestly.. two months of being asked nicely then warned and nothing has been done... I'm sorry if it makes me a bad person, I really am.. I hate having to tell people things like this, but I can't have someone living in my house that is not contributing in any way at all. I can't afford that and I believe in people earning their keep. She is 18 years old, never had a job, never even tried. I welcome her back once she has a job, but until then I can't afford to keep her under my roof. Keep in mind, she's not going to be homeless by any means. She will go back to her mothers house, so I don't feel as heartless, but maybe something might kick in for her having to move back into her moms house after being free for a few months. I really do hope she finds a job so she can have money to spend on things she wants and buy Trent Christmas presents and maybe even get herself her first car. I believe she could make a great hostess at a restaurant, maybe even a waiter. She is pretty, charming, has a nice voice and a cute smile.. I love hanging out with her when we see her down here, which is pretty rare, but I can't make exceptions. I've lived in many places and watched my mom lose them because of people she took in that didn't have jobs and often didn't try to get one and sat in our house not doing a thing. It never turns out well at all and I will not have a house anything like what I had to see growing up. We can be lazy as we want as long as we get our bills paid and have food. They can play video games all the time if they want, i don't care, they're paying the electric bill. I pay the heat, Stuart the Internet, Panda and Trent split the electric, Kris has helped make up bits along the way.... Michelle... nothing.. I'm sorry I'm rambling and if you've read this far I'm sure you think I'm harsh, unrealistic or some snot Trent has tried to call me, but I have A certain set of rules I have built for myself to prevent anything like what I saw in my childhood. I've finally made it to my own house with a loving boyfriend, wonderful friends and comfortable conditions. Everyone here gets along and we love to have people over occasionally. We are the fun house to hang out at. Our usual houseful at night is Panda, Stuart, Kris and I, Michelle upstairs (we heard her open doors and whatnot every now and then so we do know she is alive, but only rarely does she come down) and Trent works night shift at a gas station, so he's not in.

-sigh- I dunno what all this was supposed to accomplish. I just needed to rage type... Finally have a keyboard so I can.
