Hey!

So my last month has been a whirlwind of insanity. First and foremost, my father went through ascending aortic, bypass and valve replacement surgery, of which he is now recovering from and making amazing progress! I'm so proud of him, this is one of the most brutal surgeries a human can go through and he's just as bright and spry as you can possibly be after having such a surgery. I live about 3 hours away from him and have been back and forth quite a few times, helping him with pre-surgery appointments, meetings with anesthesiologists, all that fun stuff. It's taken quite a dent out of my pocketbook from gas money and hotel stays (roughly $1500) but a few incredibly helpful friends have been kind enough to supplement enough for me to get around and feed myself without going completely broke. You know who you are, thank you guys SO much <3
