Finally employed again with a day job.
Seems all right so far. Getting paid a reasonable rate, working in a similar industry as I did before, with similar clients.
Still have so much to learn and so many people to get to know, my head is spinning.
Just wanted to share the news while it was good because I know it's all too often gloom and doom in this journal.

My life opens to possibility once more. The gears in my brain are finally clunking along again.
The American work culture is weary indeed but after being idle for so long, it's a reminder that I, at least, need structured occupation.

Oddly enough for me, the free time was not conducive to being more creative. I feel like being around strangers all day is gonna make me wanna be my own strange at home, and feel like drawing again. Not just to make money but because it is fun and I'll need an outlet to be myself. That's what I'm hoping for, anyway.

Just to have something to grumble about, it's way too warm where I am. I no longer have to dread the passing of time so deeply. I am READY for fall.
