~* Ever since I was young, I've been drawing. I started with pastel still life and animal portraits and gradually began to move onto other themes and different mediums. During college, I studied traditional animation, which helped me gain a better grasp on my drawing skills. I now primarily work full time as a dog groomer and am currently looking into returning to school to be a equine veterinarian technician. However, art always will be my passion and I'll never cease to be creative in some way. I'm still learning a lot, especially when it comes to certain techniques, but I enjoy what I do, even if it's more of a hobby now then an actual profession. *~

... and from a very unexpected and overly long hiatus.

Wow. Did I never expect to fall off the face of the planet but hey, it's how life is, isn't it?

That said, I've plans to shake off the (years) of dust and gradually get back into drawing. Will I be as active? Probably not. Aside from a full time job and other responsibilities, I've a 3yr old son now whom I devote much of my remaining free time to. Which, admittedly, makes being creative on a regular basis rather difficult.

I want to try though. I miss drawing, I miss the community and seeing all the lovely work created by other artists here. It's kind of shocking to see how much time has lapsed and wondering how swiftly 4 years (and some change) can slip by.

Anyways! Nutshell, I'm still alive. ;)
