I am become death; destroyer of worlds (G)
Yes, I am still very much alive. I am just dealing with a lot of shit.
TLDR; I am in the process of becoming 1 of 4 Plaintiffs in 3 civil suits. One suit is against an individual, one suit is against the company they own, and the final lawsuit is against their Insurance Provider. The suits include; Property Damage/Replacement of Lost or Damaged Property, Loss of Use, Out of Pocket Expenses, Loss of Future Earning Capacity, Emotional and Psychological Damages, Negligence, Gross Negligence, Careless/Reckless Operation, and Bad Faith.
I've been compiling of my receipts for the last 4 months since the accident occurred and have made every calculation down to the penny. The only reason I (and the other plaintiffs) am even considering legal action is that the Insurance Provider has made no attempt at restitution nor have they made any attempt to negotiation restitution, and as of November 24, 2025, they have become persona incommunicado and have refused to answer any emails or phone calls.
I have already filed a complaint with the State Securities and Insurance Auditor, however, I do not know if any of the other plaintiffs have filed similar grievances with their State Securities and Insurance Auditor. The main hope is that it will finally force them (specifically the Insurance Provider) to settle as they've been sitting on their hands for 4 months feeding us the same line of "We're investigating coverage."
Knowing how most of this works; I don't fully expect it going to a courtroom. Most suits like these are settled out of court in arbitration. However, there's always a chance that it will end up in a legal battle.
